My husband and I came with friends who live in Dallas, we are from San Antonio. Catfish and brisket are my favorite. The catfish was seasoned, battered and cooked perfectly. The brisket was so tender, I didn’t even need a knife to cut it. Everything was amazing! We will definitely be back! We are Ernest BBQ fans! Two thumbs up. Let the Lord use you, sir.

I had an amazing experience at Earnest B’s in Frisco! I ordered the 1/2 slab pork rib plate and a catfish plate, and both were nothing short of divine. The ribs were tender and full of smoky flavor, and the catfish was perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection.

The sides were just as impressive — the baked beans, potato salad, fried okra, and green beans were all astounding. Each dish tasted homemade, fresh, and full of love. It’s rare to find a place where every single item on the plate hits the mark, but Earnest B’s absolutely delivered.

To make the experience even more special, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Pastor Morgan and his wife. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine kindness truly made us feel welcomed and appreciated. You can tell their heart is in this place, and it shines through in both the food and the service.

If you’re anywhere near Frisco, run — don’t walk — to Earnest B’s. This will easily become one of your favorite spots!

We were looking for a new BBQ joint to meet up and try out for lunch, that’s close to the wife’s job, and this place fits the bill. Service was attentive, we were greeted by two staff members upon arrival, so off to a great start. Order is made convenient with the availability of an ordering kiosk. Of course, you can order with a live person at the counter if you wish. I ordered the pork ribs plate and wife order the brisket plate. Our bill came out exceptionally reasonable compared to other BBQ joints we’ve eaten at, and the plates were phenomenal. Not a huge fan of the coleslaw, but their pork ribs are perfectly smoked, juicy, pull-off-the-bone tender and each bone has a perfect smoke ring and bark! The house BBQ sauce is great and I’ll be picking up a bottle or two along with their rub the next time we stop by, which is next Friday!

This was an AMAZING experience from the FOOD to the CUSTOMER SERVICE! Let’s start with the Rib Tips!!!🔥 I am from Chicago and the Rib Tips was a 10 out of 10! The flavor and smokey flavor has the ABSOLUTE right balance….AND they were VERY TENDER, OMG! Next, let’s talk about the Brisket, ANOTHER 10 out of 10!!! The were so TENDER and once again the smokiness and FLAVOR was on point!! I don’t know how they get the smokiness and flavor in their meat, but I must say I was highly impressed!! I had the baked beans and brisket mac and cheese. Now let’s talk about that Mac and Cheese….I love a creamy cheesy Mac and cheese….and adding the brisket to this dish made this a 10 out of 10 as well!! The baked beans was excellent as well, you can taste their great barbecue sauce through the whole dish and it seemed that it was simmered to perfection!! NOW…The prices were VERY reasonable for the large portions!!! OH, I almost forgot….don’t forget the AMAZING sweet tea!!!!

Lastly, and the icing on the cake….the customer service made me feel like so WELCOME!!! I can’t wait to come back to try the catfish!!!

OMG this place is soooo good, I’m sad that I’m just now trying it, considering they’ve been in business 10 years. The staff was very nice, the owner introduced himself as well he was extremely down to earth. I let him know I was from Baton Rouge so I’m no stranger to good seasoned food. This is hands down some of the best catfish in this area and it’s real catfish. I also tried the chopped chicken sandwich again, very flavorful and good. I can’t wait to return when I’m in that area again.
